Ritualist Weapons Question
To be honest, I'm really annoyed there is no green 20/20 communing staff with +60 health. That is a channelling one, but no communing.
Anyway, due to never having energy problems I want the +60 health. My only other options with greens are +30/+5e to get 20/20 by using the Wayward Wand and Straw Effigy. I dont mind this, but I really do want the +60 health. Does anyone know if this staff is appearing in nightfall? Even if not, I've decided im gonna buy a gold 20/20 communing staff, and add 60 health myself. So, what I want to know is what ritualist skins are the rarest on staffs, and is it possible to get a gold 20/20 drop? Ive been using a collectors staff, but hate the skin. Thanx for your time! |

You should be able to make the staff with a 19 or 20% HSR mod without too much trouble as long as you can find the base item.
A Hale Staff of Fortitude should be possible. req whatever 11-22 20% recharge communing health +30 +30 Forget looking for a perfect 20/20 gold staff in any profession. They're rare as hell. Even a 19% HSR would be great. Just add the Hale and Fortitude mods yourself. As for skins I would say you will be restricted to whatever staffs drop in Cantha (yeah I know obvious). I don't think skins are particular to a mod since its random so i guess you will go hunting for that favourite skin of yours with that favourite mod as well Happy hunting. I know the list of skins, but I'm wondering what is probably the rarest staff skin for a rit.
So your saying its not possible to get 20/20 off a drop? |

I know what you mean about the staves for ritualists being, well, less than attractive. Personally I find the celestial staves to have a really nice skin...although, as has already been said, a 20/20 drop is going to be excessively unlikely. I have a gold celestial staff with a restoration requirement on which itself is rare...it requires 12 which ordinarily would be a nuisance however I have 16 in restoration so no problem.
Perhaps you could place an advert on the GWG "WTB" forum in the Ventari's Sell section I think...someone may just happen to notice it and let you know...also unless the extra few % makes all the difference to you, I would go with the first staff that came my way even if it wasn't 20/20...maybe 18/19 instead, purely due to the fact that you might be waiting a very long time for a 20/20 to appear. Why buy a gold one? Get the collector's 20/20 communing staff, add a +30 staff head (normally costs around 3K) and a +30 staff wrapping (normally costs around 5K).... for 8K, you have your perfect staff.

^take Jetdoc's advice.
You won't be able to take the mods off with a Ex. Salvage kit, but you are adding some of the cheapest mods in the game to it anyway :\ |

If you read the topic, I state in the OP that I currently use a collectors staff, and it has both mods.
My initial gripe is that there are no greens with the same stats for communing (where by there is channelling). I like nice skins, and having rare things, which is why I dont want the collectors one. People buy Crystalines etc for a reason...I'm one of those people :P |
